THE IMPOSTER
The imposter in my mind so protecting & ungiving
Builds a wall around my brain and stops my Soul from living
It lies and tells me it is near
To protect me from the harm that's here
But all the harm that does exist
Are the distortions that it does twist
I'm to clever for it to deceive
And so the imposter it must leave
Never to enter or with icy fingers touch
