The Army of the lamplighters honors the First General of the Month: Michael Skinner, a uniquely talented singer, songwriter and guitarist, uses his music to reach out and heal , both himself and those fortunate enough to hear one of his CDs.  He is a trailblazer for male childhood sexual abuse survivors and works tirelessly to bring his message to the world.

Survivors have lived with pain and confusion since childhood.  They try many ways of getting past the experience.  They numb themselves with alcohol, drugs, sex food, or any number of other addictions and compulsions.
